The work
- Lead the product, platform and applied-AI engineering organisation, including managers, senior engineers and AI agents.
- Own roadmap, shipped delivery, technical direction, architecture and business outcomes.
- Create the operating model for humans and AI agents working together, including agent-deployment practices.
- Remain able to step into tech-lead work, ship changes, handle incidents and review code.
- Hire and grow teams/managers and establish durable engineering and performance practices.

What you bring
- Required:15+ years engineering, including6+ years people management in a pre-IPO startup, scale-up or frontier tech company and2+ years managing managers.
- Required: experience running an engineering organisation of30+ with managers and senior engineers reporting in, plus a strong earlier IC record.
- Required: current tech-lead ability in code, architecture, incident response and code review.
- Required: deep technical credibility in at least ONE of full-stack product, platform/developer experience OR applied AI; listed technologies are area examples.
- Required: organisation-building, hiring/developing managers, cross-functional work and business fluency.
