The work

• Lead the regional Legal Engineering team’s priorities, coaching, capacity, quality and escalations.
• Personally lead selected law-firm engagements from discovery to go-live; define workflow success measures and repeatable adoption.
• Coach and hire Legal Engineers, create reusable delivery playbooks and turn customer evidence into product requirements.

Reports to the Head of Legal Engineering, North EMEA. It is a senior player-coach role with AI-product adoption and customer delivery responsibility alongside conversion, renewal and expansion. Software engineering is explicitly not required.

What you bring

• Required: substantial senior law-firm or equivalent legal-innovation/operations/technology experience, often around 8+ years; scope and repeated impact matter more than tenure alone.
• Required: ability to lead complex client workshops and programmes, understand law-firm economics and influence senior stakeholders.
• Required: curiosity about generative AI, ability to test workflows, challenge assumptions and explain product limits; no software-engineer requirement.
• Preferred, not required: a Scandinavian legal qualification.
• Advantageous, not a prerequisite: previous direct people management; documented coaching/delegation/hiring leadership can establish readiness.
