• Design, implement and deploy AI/ML solutions for customers.
• Build generative AI, LLM, RAG and agent-based systems.
• Integrate AI models and services with applications, APIs, data platforms and business processes.
• Work from use-case identification and evaluation through implementation, deployment and further development.
• Choose technical architectures, models, frameworks, cloud services and infrastructure.
• Ensure security, performance, quality and scalability; provide technical leadership and support other specialists.
• Help customers understand practical AI opportunities and develop CAG Arete’s AI delivery capability.

Client-facing specialist consulting. Assignments can be senior engineering, ML engineering, Tech Lead or AI Solution Architect; some involve leading technical development with a team. Line management is not stated.

What you bring

• Expected: several years of professional software development and practical AI or ML delivery, with strong Python skills.
• Expected: practical generative AI/LLM experience and solutions using RAG, embeddings, vector databases or agents.
• Expected: ML/model-evaluation fundamentals, cloud AI on Azure/AWS/Google Cloud, AI architecture, APIs and system integration.
• Expected: CI/CD, MLOps or LLMOps and understanding of deployment and ongoing operation.
• Expected: translating customer business needs into technical solutions, technical ownership and collaboration with engineers and architects.
• Preferred: LangChain/LangGraph/Semantic Kernel, open-source or private AI infrastructure, Databricks/Fabric, Docker/Kubernetes, PyTorch/TensorFlow or technical leadership.
