The work
- Implement and maintain embedding spaces using existing multimodal models for text, image and video; this is not a remit to train foundation models from scratch.
- Extend the MCP server, API integrations and agent/UI layer, turning experiments into tested production components.
- Improve code quality, test coverage and pipelines with data scientists and senior engineers; team ownership evolves as Open Intelligence grows.
Product and platform delivery within WPP Open Intelligence.
What you bring
- 2+ years in software, data or ML engineering with a record of clean, well-tested code.
- Solid Python and cloud experience; GCP is preferred, with Vertex AI, Cloud Run and BigQuery named.
- Familiarity with or strong interest in embeddings, vector search, LLM tooling and agents; MCP is a plus.
- Clear communication and collaboration across engineering and data science.
